This guide also provides details on how to update your email address to ensure your profile stays secure and up-to-date.

Step 1. Go to https://www.ratemyagent.com/ when trying to log in to your RateMyAgent profile. Click 'Log In' on the upper right side of your screen.

Step 4. If the email address is populated already, then click on 'Reset Password'.

Addressing Unclaimed Profiles

In certain cases, such as unclaimed profiles, password reset links cannot be sent automatically. If your profile is unclaimed:

  1. Use the claim-profile link provided during your account setup.

  2. Follow the steps to claim and verify your account. Once your profile is claimed, you can follow the password reset process as outlined above.

Step 1. "A link has been emailed to reset your password. If you do not receive this email or need to change your email address, please contact support."

Step 2: Another option is to select 'Log in without your password'.

Step 3. Click on 'Send email log-in link'.

Step 4. Then, an email with the log-in link will be sent for you to log in to your RateMyAgent dashboard.

If you are logged in and need to change your password

Step 1. After logging in, select Settings from your RateMyAgent profile. You will be able to choose login details from the drop-down.

Step 2. Click Reset Password after entering your old password and verifying your new one.

Troubleshooting Common Issues

  • Forgot your login credentials after changing your email? Reset your password using the updated email to regain account access.

  • Is your account asking for an old password after email change? Email changes do not automatically require a password update. Reset your password if the previous one doesn’t work. By following these troubleshooting tips, most common login or account update issues can be resolved.
