The lines land itemised on the receipt the customer already has — nothing new to send them.

Label lines the way you would explain them out loud. "Cleaning — mud in the bed" reads far better on a receipt than "Misc fee", and it is the difference between a question and a dispute.

If the card on file declines, you will be offered a fresh-card form so the customer can enter a different card without you leaving the screen.

Unpaid at pickup instead? Use Take card now when they are stood in front of you, or Send payment link when they are not. Mark paid is only for money that genuinely arrived outside the system, such as cash — it records payment but moves no money.
