Setup Options for Clients with Multiple Locations
Updated over 2 weeks ago

At RepeatMD, we understand that every business is unique. That’s why we offer two flexible options to set up your RepeatMD app, allowing you to choose the best fit for your business model and patient experience.

  • One App with Multiple Locations (Recommended) – Simplifies app management and reporting.

  • One App per Location – Provides greater customization for businesses with unique branding or patient crossover.

Use the table below to compare these options and determine which setup works best for your business.

One App with Multiple Locations (Recommended)

Overview

Best For:

Considerations

Manage all locations within a single app for streamlined administration and reporting

Businesses with little to no patient crossover between locations and uniform branding across locations.

Centralized Management: Updates can be applied to one, multiple, or all locations at once.

Unified Reporting: View data across all locations with the ability to filter by location.

Payments: Patients’ in-app purchases automatically route to their homebase location. (Patient-selected purchasing locations coming April 2025.)

Service Redemption: Patients can redeem purchases at any location, regardless of where the purchase was made. (A reconciliation report will be available in March 2025.)

Seamless Patient Experience: Patients only sign up once, even if they visit multiple locations.

Brand Consistency: Branding settings are shared across all locations.

One App per Location

Each location has its own RepeatMD app for greater control and customization.

Businesses with patients that frequent more than (1) location and/or have location-specific branding or ownership.

Independent Management: Each location's app is managed separately. Updates cannot be applied to multiple locations at once.

Separate Admin Access: Users must log into each location’s Admin Portal individually.

Isolated Reporting: No unified reporting across locations.

Payments: In-app purchases are paid to the bank account linked to each app.

Service Redemption: Patients can only redeem treatments at the location where they were purchased.

Separate Patient Accounts: Patients must create a new account for each location they visit.

Custom Branding: Each location’s app can have unique branding and marketing materials.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Can I switch setup options after launching?

If you launch with separate apps for each location, you can consolidate them into a single app later. However, this transition can be complex and disruptive for both your business and patients.

If you launch with one app for all locations, this setup cannot be reversed later.

Recommendation: If you’re unsure which option is best, consult your Onboarding Specialist before making a decision.
