Switch between multiple platforms (Admin Panel)

Learn how to move between RepeatMD platforms from a single login using the Platform dropdown in the top navigation bar.

Overview

If your team manages more than one RepeatMD platform, you can switch between them without logging out. A Platform dropdown in the top navigation bar lists every platform your account can access. Select a platform to load its patients, catalog, reports, and settings instantly.

This article is for administrators and managers who oversee multiple practices, locations, or brands on RepeatMD.

Before You Start

  • Log in to the Admin Panel with the email address registered to your account. Usernames are no longer supported.

  • You must be granted access to more than one platform by an administrator on each platform. If you only have one platform, the dropdown does not appear.

  • Use the same email address across every platform you need to access. Mismatched emails prevent the switcher from listing all platforms.

  • Roles, settings, and platform access are specific to each platform and are managed separately in each platform’s Staff Directory.

Why It Matters

The platform switcher replaces the old logout-and-relogin workflow:

  • Support multiple platforms from one login without re-entering credentials each time.

  • View data, patients, and settings for the correct practice before making changes.

  • Train and onboard users faster when one person supports several accounts.

  • Reduce login errors by keeping one email tied to all authorized platforms.

How It Works

Platform dropdown. After login, the top navigation bar shows the name of your current platform. Click it to open the Platform dropdown and select another platform.

Instant switch. Selecting a platform reloads the Admin Panel in that platform’s context. You stay logged in. No logout is required.

Per-platform permissions. Your role on Platform A may differ from your role on Platform B. An administrator on one platform might be a Manager on another. Settings toggles also apply per platform.

Access requirements. An administrator on each platform must add your email to Staff Directory with the appropriate role. If a platform is missing from your dropdown, ask that platform’s admin to verify your access.

Granting multi-platform access. If a staff member’s email already exists on another RepeatMD platform, contact support@repeatmd.com to link access. See Manage staff members and permissions (Admin Panel).

Step-by-Step Instructions

Switch to another platform

  1. Locate the Platform dropdown in the top navigation bar (it shows your current platform name).

  2. Click the dropdown to see all platforms your account can access.

  3. Select the platform you want to view.

  4. Wait for the Admin Panel to reload in the selected platform’s context.

Verify access when a platform is missing

  1. Confirm you are logging in with the correct email address.

  2. Ask the administrator on the missing platform to open Staff Directory and confirm your email is added with an active role.

  3. If your email exists on another RepeatMD platform already, email support@repeatmd.com to request linked access.

  4. Log out and log back in after access is granted, then check the Platform dropdown again.

Best Practices and Pro Tips

  • Double-check the platform name in the top bar before editing catalog, patients, or financial settings.

  • Use one email everywhere if you support multiple practices. Mixed emails are the most common reason a platform is missing from the dropdown.

  • Configure roles per platform. Do not assume Manager access on one platform carries over to another.

  • Train staff to look at the platform name before processing refunds, redemptions, or report exports.

Common Mistakes and FAQs

Q: I do not see the Platform dropdown. What should I do?

A: The dropdown appears only when your account is assigned to more than one platform. Ask an administrator to verify your access on each platform and confirm you use the same email everywhere.

Q: Do I need to log out to switch platforms?

A: No. Select a different platform from the dropdown. You remain logged in.

Q: Will my role be the same on every platform?

A: Not necessarily. Roles and settings are configured separately per platform in Staff Directory.

Q: Can I switch platforms on mobile?

A: The Admin Panel is not supported on mobile devices. Use a desktop or laptop browser.

Q: I manage platforms for different practices. Can one Administrator set up all my access?

A: Each platform’s administrator must grant access on that platform. For email conflicts across platforms, contact support@repeatmd.com.
