How to Manage and Troubleshoot Membership Pricing for Treatments in RepeatMD
When managing treatments and memberships in RepeatMD, pricing consistency and visibility for both members and non-members can present challenges, especially when adding or updating treatments. This article provides clear guidelines to manage and troubleshoot pricing effectively.
Overview of Membership Pricing Management
Membership benefits in RepeatMD do not automatically apply to newly added treatments. This means you must manually assign new treatments to relevant membership benefits for member discounts to apply and to display both member and non-member pricing. Additionally, updates to prices may not reflect correctly if discrepancies exist between active and archived memberships.
Adding New Treatments to Memberships
To ensure both member and non-member pricing is visible for new treatments, follow these steps:
Open the Admin Panel and navigate to the App Builder.
Go to Shop: Memberships.
Locate the membership(s) where you want to include the new treatment.
Use the Edit Membership option (accessible via the three-dot menu) and select Edit for New & Existing Members to add the new treatment(s) to the relevant membership benefit(s).
Save your changes, and the member pricing will apply correctly for the newly added treatment.
Note: You need to repeat this process for every new treatment you add in the future. Automatically assigning treatments to memberships is not currently supported in RepeatMD.
Troubleshooting Pricing Visibility Issues
Occasionally, updated member pricing might not appear correctly in the app. This often happens when members are still enrolled in archived versions of memberships—they won’t see the updated prices applied to the active membership version. To resolve this:
Identify Members on Archived Membership Versions - Check if the affected members are still tied to archived memberships.
Correct the Pricing for Archived Versions - Update the pricing directly in the archived membership version so those members see the correct pricing. OR - Ask these members to cancel their current archived membership and re-enroll into the active membership.
Once either step is completed, pricing will reflect correctly for those members moving forward.
Additional Tips
After making any edits, refresh the application to ensure changes are propagated.
Always double-check membership benefits to confirm that all treatments are correctly included.
