Overview
This article explains how to archive treatments and packages in your Admin Panel and what happens when those services are tied to promotions, memberships, or rewards. It’s designed for practice owners, managers, and admins who need to remove services from the app.
Before You Start
You must have Admin access with one of the following roles: Marketing, Manager, or Administrator.
Treatments and packages can be archived and unarchived at any time.
Archiving hides the treatment or package from the app and prevents new purchases.
Archiving does not affect past purchases or membership billing.
Treatments and packages may need to be replaced in promotions, memberships, or rewards before archiving.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Archive a treatment or package
Log in to your Admin Panel.
Go to App Builder.
Select Treatments or Packages.
Find the treatment or package you want to archive.
Click the three-dot menu on the right side.
Select Archive Treatment or Archive Package.
Review the warning message and confirm.
Once archived, the treatment or package is immediately hidden from the Patient Rewards app.
What Happens When You Archive Treatments and Packages
If the treatment or package is one of multiple options in a promotion, membership, or reward
You’ll see a warning that archiving will remove the treatment or package from:
Promotions
Memberships
Rewards
Patients who have already redeemed the treatment or package will see no change.
Patients who have not yet redeemed will no longer see the archived option.
If you later unarchive the treatment or package, you must manually re-add it to any promotions, memberships, or rewards.
If the treatment or package is the only option in a promotion, membership, or reward
You will be blocked from archiving the treatment or package.
You must first:
Add a replacement treatment or package, or
Remove the promotion, membership, or reward
Once another option exists, the treatment or package can be archived.
How It Works
Archiving hides the treatment or package from the app and prevents future purchases.
Patients can still redeem treatments or packages they already purchased.
Membership billing continues as normal, but the archived treatment or package is no longer visible or redeemable within the membership.
Promotions, memberships, and rewards update automatically when a treatment or package is archived.
Unarchiving restores the treatment or package but does not reconnect it to any promotions, memberships, or rewards.

Can patients still redeem treatments or packages they already purchased?
Yes. Archiving only prevents new purchases.
Does archiving affect membership billing?
No. Billing continues as normal, but the archived treatment or package will no longer appear as a redeemable option.
Why can’t I archive a treatment or package?
It may be the only option tied to a promotion, membership, or reward. You must add a replacement first.
Can I unarchive a treatment or package later?
Yes, but you’ll need to manually re-add it to any promotions, memberships, or rewards.
Will archived treatments or packages appear in the app at all?
