Overview

When a patient goes through your Ageless experience, a series of automated communications kicks off on your behalf. These messages are designed to deliver results, recover patients who dropped off, and drive consultation bookings.

Messages come from either Ageless Marketing or your practice's dedicated Ageless email address (<domain>@platform.ageless.ai) so they appear to come from your practice, not a generic platform.


Why This Matters

Not all leads convert on the first touchpoint. The window between a patient completing the Ageless experience and losing interest is short, and manual follow-up alone rarely moves fast enough to catch them.

The automated campaigns close that gap. The Drop-Off Recovery sequence re-engages patients who never saw their results. The Booking Campaign keeps your practice top of mind for up to 30 days with messages that address hesitation, build credibility, and create urgency.

For your team, this means less chasing and more conversations with patients who are already primed. The automations handle the volume; your staff handles the close.


The Four Campaigns

There are four campaigns in total — Drop-Off Recovery, Result Notifications, Booking Campaign, and Consultation Requested — covering the patient journey from the moment they submit their contact info through 30 days after completing the experience. Messages go out over both SMS and email, often in parallel, and most campaigns support opt-outs at both the patient and practice level.

Opt-Outs

Most campaigns support opt-outs at two levels:

  • Patient-level opt-out: A patient can opt out of receiving further messages from a specific campaign. This is managed at the individual patient level and does not affect other patients.

  • Practice-level opt-out: A practice can turn off an entire campaign for all patients. This is useful if you want to manage follow-up manually or through your own CRM instead.

Result Notifications have no opt-out. The Before & After and Future Self emails deliver the patient's actual results — they are transactional, not promotional. These will always send when a patient completes the experience.


Outreach Settings

Practice administrators can control how aggressively Ageless follows up with patients. These settings are available in your Ageless admin and apply across all campaigns.

AI Outreach — On / Off

Controls whether Ageless automatically follows up with patients at all. When turned off, no marketing or nurture messages are sent — only transactional messages like result delivery still go out. Turn this off if you manage patient outreach entirely through your own CRM or marketing tools and don't want any overlap.

Reduce Outreach Frequency — On / Off

When enabled, Ageless reduces how often patients are contacted — fewer messages are sent overall and the time between messages is increased. This is a middle ground for practices that want automated follow-up without the full cadence.

Keep in mind that reducing frequency may also reduce the number of consultation requests your practice receives.


FAQs

Q: Do these messages come from my practice or from Ageless?

It depends on the message type. Some emails come from your practice's unique Ageless address (<domain>@platform.ageless.ai). SMS messages are sent via Ageless Marketing numbers. Patients experience these as your practice's communications throughout.

Q: What happens when a patient books a consultation — do the follow-up messages stop?

Yes. Once a patient requests a consultation, they exit the Booking Campaign and enter the Consultation Requested campaign instead. They won't continue receiving booking nudges after they've already raised their hand.

Q: Can I turn off specific campaigns for my practice?

Yes. Campaigns that support practice-level opt-outs can be disabled so they won't send for any patients at your practice. Contact support if you need to adjust campaign settings.

Q: What's the difference between Ageless Transactional and Ageless Marketing for SMS?

Ageless Transactional is used for confirmation messages — they're triggered by a patient action (like requesting a consultation) and are not promotional. Ageless Marketing is used for outbound nurture and follow-up messages. The distinction matters for compliance and deliverability.
