Overview
This article explains how RepeatCash works and how to set it up and manage it in your Admin Panel. It’s designed for practice owners and managers who want to offer flexible rewards while controlling how much value patients can apply toward future in-app purchases.
Before You Start
RepeatCash is tied to your Rewards program.
RepeatCash values are set by the practice.
RepeatCash is only usable for in-app purchases at your practice.
Patients must actively choose to convert a reward into RepeatCash.
What Is RepeatCash?
RepeatCash gives patients the option to convert an unlocked reward into a dollar amount you define. This allows every reward to feel valuable, even if the original service isn’t something the patient wants right now.
Instead of forcing a one-size-fits-all reward, RepeatCash gives patients flexibility while still keeping spend within your app.
How RepeatCash Works
A patient unlocks a reward.
The patient chooses to either:
Redeem the reward as-is, or
Convert it into RepeatCash at the value you set.
Once converted, RepeatCash appears throughout the Patient App as a reminder it’s available.
At checkout, RepeatCash appears as a payment option that can be applied toward eligible purchases.
💡Important Rules to Know: |
RepeatCash is non-transferable to other practices and must be used towards an in-app purchase for the medical spa the patient unlocked the reward from. |
Additionally, once converted RepeatCash cannot be shared with a family member or friend. Only unlocked rewards can be shared with family or friends. |
Once a reward is converted into RepeatCash, it cannot be reversed. |
How to Think About Setting RepeatCash Values
RepeatCash does not need to equal the retail value of the reward.
Instead, it should reflect:
What you’re comfortable applying toward a future purchase
How you want to balance perceived value with margin protection
Best Practice Recommendation
Start with a $25 RepeatCash value per unlocked reward.
Adjust values up or down by reward tier based on your business goals.
You can:
Keep the same value across all rewards
Customize values per reward tier
Turn RepeatCash off for specific rewards
Turning RepeatCash off entirely is possible, but not recommended for most practices.
Managing RepeatCash in Your Rewards Program
RepeatCash values can be edited directly when managing your reward tiers.
Updates only apply to patients who have not yet converted the reward.
Once converted, the RepeatCash value is locked for that patient.
For example:
💡Pro tip: |
You can also turn it off for individual rewards. Although not recommended, you can turn off RepeatCash and not offer it in your Rewards program at all. |
Aesthetic practices aren't one-size-fits-all, so it's important you work with your team to identify what is going to benefit your practice and your patients.

Using RepeatCash From Gift Cards
RepeatCash can also come from redeemed Gift Cards in the Patient App.
How It Works
Gift card balances convert into RepeatCash.
That balance lives in the patient’s Wallet and can be applied to eligible purchases.
Using RepeatCash for Memberships
First month only: RepeatCash can be used for the initial membership purchase.
Renewals: RepeatCash cannot be used for recurring membership charges. This is why a credit card is still required when purchasing a membership with RepeatCash.
Using RepeatCash for Other Purchases
RepeatCash works like cash for most in-app purchases.
How It Works (Behind the Scenes)
RepeatCash functions as stored value inside the Patient App.
It appears automatically at checkout when eligible.
Membership renewals always charge the card on file.
