How to Get Your RepeatMD App Links

Learn how to great and use your shortened app links

Updated this week

Overview

Your RepeatMD app link directs patients to download your branded mobile app. To promote it effectively, especially in texts, emails, and social posts, you’ll need a shortened version of your app URL.

This guide shows you how to create a Bitly link and where to use it for maximum impact.

Why It Matters

Using shortened links makes your app easier to promote and easier for patients to access. It’s clean, trackable, and works across all platforms.

Although SMS now supports up to 200 characters, long URLs still clutter messages and may affect delivery. A shortened link ensures your messages stay sharp, concise, and patient-friendly.

Pro-Tip: Avoid using Bit.ly for short links as they could appear as spam and can affect the delivery of your text messages.

A: You can, but long links often get cut off in texts or look unpolished. A short link is cleaner and easier for patients to trust and click.
