Scraping benefit values from pdf illustrations and other financial proposals can be a real challenge. Repredict makes it easy. Just upload the pdf or csv pages into Repredict and we do all the rest. Fast and accurate.
Importing Data
The quickest way to transfer data from an illustration or spreadsheet is to import it. Repredict can read pdf, csv, xls and num files. Simply click the Import Data button
and upload the file containing the relevant pages from your hard drive. Repredict will read, insert, format and label all the numbers for you.
If a pdf file has more than 10 pages, you will be prompted to extract the relevant ones. Click the Continue button or the Extract PDF button and you will be directed to a free third-party extraction tool. Upload and choose the thumbnails of the pages you wish to keep.
Copying and Pasting
If for any reason importing is not successful, you may want to copy the data and paste it directly into a new blank Repredict ledger. You can do this by pasting the entire table at once. Make sure you include the column headings. You will then need to select the row or rows containing the header information, mark them as header rows and press Format Header.
Finally, click the Format Sheet button to clean up any formatting issues and complete the process.
Inserting Additional Data
You may want to insert additional data into a table you have already imported. For example, you may want to include policy charges from a different page of the illustration. In that case, right click on a column and select either "Insert a new column before" or "Insert a new column after".
Then copy and paste the column data and rename the column header.
After the data has been successfully imported, formatted and edited, you may want to click the Export button and save as a csv file. That way you can import the csv file in the future without any formatting concerns.
