When you're viewing listings on the Map Search, you can narrow your results by using the Filter Listings menu. This allows you to search more precisely by sale or lease type, property details, dates, location, and member info. Filters are especially useful when you're looking for something specific, like large industrial properties for lease, or recently sold retail space in a certain city.
If you're looking for comps, we have a dedicated article that walk you through that process: How do I search for comps?
When you're on the Map Search, just click on this button in the top right corner:
This will expand the Filter Listings menu:
You can change the default sorting, enter keywords, select primary and secondary uses, and also specify what statuses you want to search.
Further down, you'll find even more search filters in collapsed sections:
While our filter list will continue to grow, right now some of the filtering options include Sale Price, Cap Rate, Lease Rate, Available SF, Building SF, Acres, Ceiling Height, Zoning, Submarkets, City, County, Zip Codes, Listed After date, Transacted After date, as well as specific companies and/or broker filtering.
Just click on a section to expand, and access more search filters:
Remember to click on Update at the bottom of the filters to update your Map Search:
Filters won't apply until you click Update at the bottom of the menu.
Resetting your filters
If you ever change your mind, you can click on Reset All at the top of the page:
This will clear all selected filters, and return the Map search to the default.
Keeping your filters open
If you'd like to keep the Filter Listings menu on the Map Search, you can click on the Pin icon in the top right corner to keep it open even after you click Update:
Filtering lets you skip past irrelevant listings and focus only on those that meet your exact criteria. Please share your feedback about our filtering, we would like to hear about what you need, so we can work with your association to make things better!
