By now, many of you have had a chance to explore the new map search experience in Associate. We’re excited to officially share what’s new and highlight the improvements we’ve made across the platform.
The updated experience gives brokers a more flexible way to search, review, and evaluate commercial properties, with improvements to map navigation, property details, data views, reports, listing workflows, embedded search, and the dashboard.
A Redesigned Map Research Experience
Over the past few weeks, we’ve introduced a new map workspace designed to make commercial real estate research more flexible and easier to navigate.
The new experience brings map results, property cards, and data views together in one connected workflow. You can resize the map and results panels, switch between views, and move from a high-level market search into detailed property research with fewer steps.
The updated map experience includes:
Flexible, resizable map and results views
Cleaner listing cards with more relevant property information
Improved movement between listings, lease spaces, transactions, and reports
Better desktop and mobile navigation
These changes create a more consistent path from market exploration to property evaluation.
More Focused Search and Filtering
The map search experience now puts the most important criteria front and center while keeping additional options close at hand.
Primary filters are easier to find, and the updated layout makes it simpler to understand how your search is being shaped.
AI-assisted search has also been enhanced to help users search with natural language and refine existing searches without starting over.
Richer Property Details
Listing details now bring more property context into one place.
Users can access parcel information, property history, listing timelines, broker notes, lease spaces, transactions, attachments, virtual tours, and related property materials through a more connected detail experience.
We’ve also improved the way lease-space and transaction details are presented, making it easier to understand the relationship between a property, its spaces, and its transaction history.
A More Useful Data View
The Data view now makes it easier to review and act on search results.
Lease spaces can be expanded inline, matching spaces can be previewed without leaving the workflow, and sold transaction information is presented more clearly.
Easier Listing Draft Workflows
Listing creation is now easier to pause and resume.
Incomplete listing drafts can be saved and continued later, with progress preserved through the listing workflow.
This gives users more flexibility when gathering listing information over time and helps protect work that is still in progress.
Demographics Reports
Associate now includes demographic information to help provide additional context around the properties and markets you’re evaluating.
Demographics reports are available when creating a PDF report. From the map, select the listing or listings you’d like to include, choose Download PDF, and scroll down the PDF options until you reach Show Demographics:
Depending on the report type, demographic information may include:
Population and household data
Income and housing information
Migration trends
Market information related to the subject property
Demographic pages now include the subject listing’s name and address, along with clearer visualizations to make the information easier to review and present.
A New Dashboard Experience
We’ve introduced an entirely new dashboard to give you a clearer starting point and quicker access to the tools and workflows you use most.
The new dashboard is designed to help you quickly find your way to the right workflow, whether you’re beginning a new search, reviewing recent activity, or accessing one of Associate’s connected tools.
Additional Improvements
We’ve continued refining the details throughout Associate to make everyday workflows feel smoother and more consistent. This includes improvements to search, filtering, transaction and lease information, broker contact workflows, mobile experiences, and the way company branding appears across listings, reports, and cards.
Together, these updates make Associate easier to navigate and help create a more polished experience from the first search through property review, reporting, and follow-up. As always, these improvements are shaped by the feedback and suggestions we receive from the brokers and admins using Associate every day! Thank you for your continued feedback.
Continuing to Build
Associate is designed to help brokers spend less time managing the mechanics of research and more time evaluating the opportunities that matter.
We’re excited to keep building on this foundation with continued improvements to search, property intelligence, reporting, and broker workflows.
Points of Interest Reports — Coming Soon
We’re also working on expanded report pages for nearby points of interest, including retail and restaurants.
These reports will include maps and nearby-location lists to provide additional context around a property and its surrounding area.
