How does Insights differ from the free version of Restor?

Updated this week

The free version of Restor lets any organization map their sites on a global platform, access ecological datasets at the site level, and become visible to funders. It's a powerful starting point and will always be free.

Restor Insights goes further. It adds:

  • Portfolio management: group multiple sites and aggregate their combined impact across your whole network

  • Ground data uploads: bring your own field and socio-economic data into the platform alongside global datasets

  • Advanced monitoring tools: the SEED index (beta) and Disturbance Alerts (beta)

  • Customizable dashboards: shareable via password-protected links

  • Reporting outputs: including annual PDF reports and co-branded landing pages

  • Onboarding and dedicated support

All of Restor's ecological datasets remain freely accessible on the open platform. What Insights provides is the service layer on top β€” the ability to aggregate data across sites, set and track goals, visualize portfolio-level impact, and share it with stakeholders in a compelling way.

If you're managing more than one or two sites and need to report to funders or stakeholders, Insights is designed for you.
