Overview:

Missing a feature you need? Want to look back on the changes to ReturnLogic you may have missed? Great! Look no further. This article covers everything you need to know.

February 2025:

Improved address validation

ReturnLogic now offers improved address validation both in-platform and in the customer portal. If an address has a validated alternative that alternative will be presented in a pop-up to select.

Inventory Threshold Changes

Inventory threshold, the feature that prevents items from showing up in the exchange catalog when it is under the threshold, is now broken out into the Exchange inventory threshold, the Warranty inventory threshold, and the Third Party Warranty inventory threshold.

March 2025

ShipHero Integration v2

ReturnLogic now supports both a success and an error message from ShipHero for better automation. Users can set the desired status in their ShipHero integration here or read more about the integration itself here.

Settings Upgrade

ReturnLogic's settings have been rearranged to new sections, allowing for better navigation and taking into account new feature pages from the last few years.

Authorization by Return Type

You can now set each return type to either manual authorization (your team must either authorize or reject each RMA of that type) or automatic authorization (the shopper receives the shipping label/shipping instructions after lodging their return). Set this under each Return Type on the appropriate page here.

April 2025

Switch to Webhooks for Public Shopify Apps

Webhooks allows for accounts on the ReturnLogic Shopify app to have faster syncing of orders and other settings. Learn more about the ReturnLogic Shopify app here.

Refund Amount Added to RMA Items Report

This update adds the amount actually refunded in the ecommerce platform to the RMA Items Report.

Return Types by Return Reason

You are now able to set which Return Types are available if a shopper selects a specific Return Reason. This feature also allows for reasons to be set only for Third Party Warranty. You can set the Return Types for each Return Reason in settings here.

Hide Unavailable Return Types

You are now able to select "Display when Unavailable" for each Return Type in your settings. Previously all return types would be shown even if they were unavailable for that item with an unavailable message, and now you are able to hide those unavailable types. You can find this setting here.

Upgrades for Menu Options

Put your best products up front with the ability to disable the "All Products" menu option for exchange and warranty catalogs. Take a look at this setting here.

Support for Hazard Shipping

ReturnLogic now supports hazardous materials markings on USPS labels. Use one of the available tags found in this article here to mark products that require altered labels.

May 2025

Catalog Product Exclusions

Product tag exclusions, previous exchange/warranty product tag exclusions, are now split between Exchange, Warranty, and Third Party Warranty. For both exchanges and warranties, the product tags will prevent items from showing up in the catalog for selection. For Third Party Warranty, these excluded product tags will not show up in the 3PW catalog at all.
