✨ When You Need This Guide
Use this article when:
A single provider is out (vacation, personal leave, etc.)
You need to block off time for one person but keep others available
You want to avoid reschedules or bookings during a provider’s absence
Examples:
“Dr. Kim is off next Thursday. Can I just block her time?”
“Only one provider is off—not the whole office.”
✅ Step-by-Step: Set Holiday Hours for One Provider
Go to Scheduling > Settings
Click on the button labeled "Set User/Provider Schedules"
You’ll see a list of all providers in your office
Click on the provider’s name to edit their schedule
On the next screen, click "Set Holiday/Vacation Hours"
Use the arrows at the top of the calendar to navigate:
> = next week
>> = next month
< = previous week
<< = previous month
On the desired week, click and drag over any blue blocks to remove availability
Blue = Bookable times
White = Unavailable
Once you're done, click “Save Schedule” before moving on to a new week
🛠 Optional: Manual Input Mode
Want to enter exact times instead of dragging?
Switch to Manual Input at the top-right of the calendar to type in custom hours or remove slots.
📌 Want to Set Office-Wide Vacation Hours?
✅ You’ll Know It Worked When:
The provider’s schedule shows blocked-off hours for their vacation dates
Patients will no longer be able to book appointments with them during that time
Other providers remain available if applicable
