✨ When You Need This Guide

Use this article when:

  • Your clinic will be closed for holidays, special events, or PTO

  • You want to stop patients from booking online during certain dates or hours

Common questions this article answers:

  • What happens when clinic hours temporarily change?


✅ Set Clinic-Wide Vacation or Holiday Hours 🏥

  1. Go to Scheduling > Settings
    This is where you manage both default and special schedules.

  2. Click “Set Holiday/Vacation Hours”
    You’ll see a calendar for editing your schedule.

  3. Use arrows in the top corners to navigate between weeks or months.

  4. Click and drag across the calendar to adjust hours.

    • Blue sections = available to book

    • Remove blue areas to block off time (unavailable)

  5. Prefer manual control?

    • In the top-right of the calendar, switch to “Manual Input”

    • You can enter exact start/end times or click “Delete” to remove availability completely

  6. Click “Save Schedule” before switching weeks

    • Important: Each week must be saved individually—changes will be lost if you move weeks before saving.


🧑‍⚕️ Set Vacation Hours for Specific Providers

  1. In the same Scheduling > Settings page, click “Set User Provider Schedules”

  2. Select the provider you want to adjust.

  3. Click “Set Holiday/Vacation Hours”

  4. Just like clinic-wide scheduling, you can:

    • Click and drag to adjust open hours

    • Or switch to Manual Input to precisely enter or delete time blocks

  5. Click “Save Schedule” for each week you edit to lock in your changes.
