Step 1: Log in to Your Meta Business Suite
Log in using your Business Admin account
Step 2: Go to Business Settings
In the left sidebar, click “Settings”
Then navigate to “Users” → “System Users”
*Note: To see the system users, you need to be an admin.
Step 3: Create a System User
Click “Add”
Provide a name (e.g., ReportingBot) and choose Admin access
Click Create
Step 4: Assign Assets to the System User
Click the three dots (⋯) and select “Assign Assets.”
Select your Pages, Ad Accounts or other required assets type
Grant the necessary permissions.
Then, Click on Assign Assets
Step 5: Generate the Access Token
1. Click “Generate Token.”
2. Choose the app associated with your Meta Ads account
Once selected, the account, click on Next
3. Set the expiration to Never
Once selected, Never click on Next.
4. Select the necessary permissions (at minimum: ads_read)
5. Click Generate Token
6. Copy the generated token and store it securely
Share this token with the Revlitix team (CSM).
You will not be able to view it again after this
⚠️ If Your Business Is Not Verified
You’ll be prompted to verify your account when generating the token. Follow these steps:
Step 1: Click “Verify Account”
Step 2: Send Verification Code
You’ll be asked to confirm your email address
Click “Send email” to receive the confirmation code
Step 3: Enter the Code
Check your email for a 6-digit confirmation code
Enter the code in the input box
Click “Submit”
Step 4: Confirmation
You’ll see a confirmation message: “Thanks for confirming your email”
Click “Done”
