Creating New Audits: A Step-by-Step Guide

This guide walks you through creating new audits tailored to specific channels. Whether focusing on Google Ads or any other channel, follow these steps to set up your audits efficiently.

How to Create An Aggregated Audit?

Access the Audits Module

  1. Navigate to the Audits Module: Begin by entering the Audits section of your platform.

  2. Select a Channel: Click on the channel card for which you wish to create new audits.

Part 1 - Audit Set Up

Step 1: Initiate Audit Creation

  • Find the '+ Audits' Button: Look to the right side, above the channel details, and click '+Audits' to start.

Step 2: Choose Audit Type

Select Audit Style: Choose' Aggregated Audit' based on your assessment needs.

Step 3: Specify the Channel

The channel name will auto-fill as you create it for that specific channel.

Step 4: Define the Object

Select the object (e.g., campaign, ad group) for your audit criteria.

Step 5: Set the Application Filter

Apply the chosen object to this filter at diverse levels.

Step 6: Add Conditions

Establish conditions tailored to the object for thorough auditing.

  • The User can use the 'Add Condition' button to include additional conditions to the Audit.

  • The User may also delete the condition by clicking on the 'Delete' icon placed at the end of the condition panel.

  • The User may copy the condition by clicking the 'Copy' icon.

Step 7: Determine the Data Timeframe

Specify the period for which data will be analyzed.

Step 8: Decide Audit Frequency

Indicate how often (e.g., monthly) the Audit should run. The User will have to choose the days according to their preference.

Step 9: Categorize Audit Type

Choose from types like Urgent, Errors, Essentials, Activity, or Opportunities to classify your audit.

Step 10: Name Your Audit

Provide a clear, recognizable name.

Step 11: Describe Your Audit

Offer details on why this Audit is being conducted.

Step 12: Impact Selection

Decide whether a passing audit indicates a positive or negative impact.

Step 13: Set Up Notifications

Groups have been added to receive audit updates, and multiple groups can be added as needed on the Notifications page.

The groups created in the Notifications tab within the Settings module will appear during audit creation, allowing users to select from the available notification groups.

Part 2 - Connect Playbook Page

Step 14: Option to Create Recommendations

Create new recommendations or skip this step.

  • The Users can skip this step by clicking the 'Cancel' button.

Creation of Audit

A new audit has been created and is accessible under the specific audit type and in the 'All' section.

Following these steps, you can create targeted audits for any channel, ensuring your analysis is precise, relevant, and actionable.

How to Create A Row-Wise Audit?

This guide will help you create and configure a row-wise audit. Follow the steps below to ensure an effective audit setup.

Access the Audits Module

  1. Navigate to the Audits Module: Begin by entering the Audits section of your platform.

  2. Select a Channel: Click on the channel card for which you wish to create new audits.

Part 1 - Audit Set Up

Step 1: Initiate Audit Creation

  • Find the '+ Audits' Button: Look to the right side, above the channel details, and click '+Audits' to start.

Step 2: Choose Audit Type

Select Audit Style: Choose' Row-wise Audit' based on your assessment needs.

Step 3: Specify the Channel

  • Enter Channel Name: As you create the audit, the channel name will automatically fill in based on the specific channel you are working on.

Step 4: Select Object Category

  • Choose 'Single Object': From the dropdown menu, select 'Single Object' to define the focus of your audit.

Step 5: Define the Object

  • Pick an Object: Select the specific object (such as a campaign or ad group) that will form the basis of your audit criteria.

Step 5: Select the Date Field

  • Choose Date Field: Select 'Date' as the field to audit against.

Step 6: Set the Application Filter

  • Apply the Filter: The platform will populate the previously selected object and apply it to this filter at different levels.

Step 7: Input Conditions

  • Establish Conditions: Customize the conditions based on the object selected for a thorough audit.

  • Add Conditions: You can add as many conditions as needed by clicking the 'Add Condition' button for the chosen object.

  • Delete Conditions: To remove any unwanted condition, click the 'Delete' icon at the end of the condition panel.

  • Copy Conditions: If you need to duplicate a condition, you can easily do so using the 'Copy' icon.

Step 8: Determine Data Timeframe

  • Specify the Period: Choose the timeframe for the data to be audited.

Step 9: Decide Audit Frequency

  • Set Audit Frequency: Decide how often the audit should run (e.g., monthly). Select the specific days according to your preferences.

Step 10: Categorize Audit Type

  • Choose Audit Type: Classify the audit by selecting categories such as Urgent, Errors, Essentials, Activity, or Opportunities.

Step 11: Name Your Audit

  • Provide a Name: Create a clear and recognizable name for your audit for easy reference.

Step 12: Describe Your Audit

  • Explain the Purpose: Describe why this audit is being performed and what it aims to achieve.

Step 13: Impact Selection

  • Determine Impact: Choose whether a passing audit indicates a positive or negative impact on your metrics.

  • Click 'Next' to move to the next stage.

Step 14: Set Up Notifications

Groups have been added to receive audit updates, and multiple groups can be added as needed on the Notifications page.

The groups created in the Notifications tab within the Settings module will appear during audit creation, allowing users to select from the available notification groups.

Part 2 - Connect Playbook Page

Step 15: Connect the Playbook Page

  • Create Recommendations: You can create new recommendations based on the audit results.

  • Skip Option: If recommendations are unnecessary, click 'Next' to skip this step.

  • The Users can skip this step by clicking the 'Cancel' button.

Creation of Audit

A new audit has been created and is accessible under the specific audit type and in the 'All' section.

Following these steps, you will have a successfully configured row-wise audit. Adjust settings as needed based on your specific audit criteria and goals.
