What is a Sankey Chart?

A Sankey chart is a visual map that shows the flow of something, making it easy to understand how things move or transform between different system parts.

Step-by-Step Guide:

Step 1: Go to the Reports module
​

Step 2: Click the 'View Reports' tab at the top of the page.

Step 3: Click the 'New report' tab to create a maximum of 12 widgets the User can contain in a Report.

Step 4: Give a Report name that is relevant for the purpose.

Step 5: Click the 'Add your widget' icon to open platform choices for your template.

Step 6: Add Your Widget

a. Create Custom Widget: Click 'Create Custom Widget' to create a new one.

b. Select from your templates: Choose from widgets saved earlier.
​

​

c. Select from the Revlitix templates: Choose from pre-built templates for convenience.
​

You can choose templates from the Revlitix templates available under this tab.
​

Step 7: Choose "Creating a Custom Widget" if needed, and configure the Sankey Chart.
​

Step 8: Enter an appropriate Widget Name and click the tick icon.
​

​

Step 9: The 'Configuration tab' is enabled by default; the filter tab will be enabled once configured.
​

Step 10: Select 'Sankey Chart' from the drop-down.
​

​

Step 11: Describe the Widget.
​

Step 12: Choose the integrated Channel name from the list.
​

​

Step 13: Selecting an object will display a preview image on the right side of the page.
​

​

Step 14: In the calendar section, select the time range from the Day, Week, Month, or Year tab.

Step 15: Select 'Date' in the 'Date field.'
​

​

Step 16: Choose the Metric for assessment.
​

​

Step 17: Click 'Starting point' to adjust the indicators display.
​

Step 18: Optionally, 'Save as template' for future use.
​

​

Step 19: Click 'Save Widget' at the top right corner.
​

​

Step 20: The widget will appear on the Reports details page once saved.

Editing the Chart:

Users can edit the chart anytime by choosing the Edit button in the kebab icon.
