Follow this step-by-step guide to easily create and customize a Forecast Chart for your reports.
Step 1: Access the Reports Module
Navigate to the Reports module from the main navigation.
Step 2: View Existing Reports
Click the View Reports button on the Reports Listing page.
Step 3: Start a New Report
Press the New Report button to begin creating a new report.
Enter a Report Name for easy identification.
Step 4: Add Your Widget
Click Add Your Widget to open platform options for templates.
You have three options:
Create Custom Widget: Build a new custom widget.
Select from Your Templates: Use a previously saved widget template.
Select from Revlitix Templates: Choose a ready-to-use pre-built template.
Step 5: Configure the Forecast Chart
If creating a custom widget, select Create Custom Widget.
Step 6: Set Widget Details
Widget Name: Enter a name for the Forecast Chart and click Save.
Widget Type: Choose Forecast Chart from the dropdown.
Widget Description: Provide a brief description explaining the purpose of the chart.
Step 7: Configure Forecast Settings
Forecast Type: Choose either Weekly or Monthly based on how you want the forecast displayed.
Channel Name: Select the relevant channel for your forecast.
Object: Pick the appropriate object from the list.
Apply To: The field will auto-populate based on the selected object.
KPI: Select the KPI you want to forecast (populated according to the chosen object).
Step 8: Advanced Settings (Optional)
Customize Chart Colors as per your brand or presentation needs.
Step 9: Create and Save the Widget
Click Create Widget at the top-right corner to add the Forecast Chart to your report.
Save the Report to ensure all created widgets are stored for future use.
