How to Create a Group Bar Chart
Step 1: Access the Reports Module
If you are on the Reports Listing page:
Click on the 'New Report' button.
If you are on the Reports Details page:
To return to the Listings page, click on the 'View Reports' button and then on the 'New Report' button.
Step 2: Set Up Your Report
Give your report a name.
Click on 'Add Your Widget'.
Step 3: Choose Widget Type
Select a Widget Type:
Use a preexisting template from 'Select your templates' or 'Select from the Revlitix templates'.
Or create a new one by selecting 'Create Custom Widget'.
Choose a Widget Name
Step 4: Select Comparison Chart
Choose 'Comparison Chart' under Widget Type.
For a Group Bar Chart, select 'Group Bar Chart' under Graph Type.
Step 5: Configure Your Chart
Provide a description for easy reference.
Identify the Channel name from the dropdown.
Choose the metric as an object from the field.
Designate a Time Range.
Configure the X-axis:
Choose the Field and its values.
If the field is a dimension, the next dropdown will be a value. If it's a 'Date', the next dropdown will be the Aggregation field.
Configure Series:
These represent the bars on the graph for the dimension on the X-axis.
Add as many series as needed for analysis.
7. Configure the Y-axis:
Choose the metric as the Field.
Select Date from the 'Date Field'.
Utilize Advanced Settings:
Change the color of the bars from these fields
Step 6: Save as Template
Check this field if you want other users to use this configuration later.
Now, with the above steps, it is easy to create and analyze your Group Bar Chart!
