How to create Cohort Analysis for a single object?

Cohort Analysis is a powerful tool that allows you to track and analyze the behavior of specific groups of users over time. Following the step-by-step instructions below, you can create and customize Cohort Analysis reports tailored to your business needs.

Step 1: Access Reports Module

Go to the Reports module in your dashboard.

Step 2: Return to Listings Page (if needed)

If you find yourself on the Reports Details page:

  • Click on the 'View Reports' button.

  • Then click on the 'New Report' button to return to the Listings page.

Step 3: Set Up Your Report

  • Give your report a name.

Step 4: Add Widget

  • Click on 'Add Your Widget'.

Step 5: Choose Widget Type

  • Select a preexisting template from 'Select your templates' or 'Select from the Revlitix templates.'

  • Alternatively, create a new one by selecting 'Create Custom Widget'.

Step 6: Widget Name

  • Choose a name for your widget.

  • Go to the 'Configuration' tab.

Step 7: Select Cohort Analysis

  • Choose 'Cohort Analysis' from the Widget type.

Step 8: Description

  • Provide a suitable description in the Widget Description field.

Step 9: Channel Name

  • Select a Channel name from the list of Integrated CRM channels.

Step 10: Object Type

  • Click 'Single Object' from the choices under Object Types.

Step 11: Object Selection

  • Choose an Object to determine Funnel stages for Primary and Secondary Objects.

Step 12: Time Range

  • Select the time range for the analysis.

Step 13: Aggregation

  • Choose the Aggregation type: 'Weekly,' 'Monthly,' or 'Quarterly.'

Step 14: Advanced Settings

  • Save as Template: Check this box if you want other Users to use this configuration.

  • It will be saved in 'Save from your templates,' a collection of all saved templates.

Step 15: Filter Tab

  • Provide an appropriate filter name.

  • Object: This will be picked up from the Configuration details.

  • Column: The users will see the custom dimensions, custom metrics, and KPIs in the dropdown.

  • Operator: Choose from a list of operators.

  • Value: Key in the value according to the column specifications.

  • Add more: Users can add more filters by clicking the 'Add More' button.

Save and Preview

  • Click the 'Save' button, which will populate a preview image on the right side of the page.

Step 16: Create Widget

  • Click 'Create Widget' located on the top right corner of the page.

Finalize

  • Next, save your report, which will transport you back to the Reports Details page.
