Editing and Deleting Sales Interfaces

You can modify or delete sales interfaces if they were added incorrectly, need redesigning, or are no longer required.

Accessing Sales Interfaces

Go to:

  • Sales and Customers > Sale Settings >Selling Screen > Edit Icon (🖊).

ℹ️ The sales register must be closed to make modifications or deletions.

Editing a Sales Interface

You can modify the following details:

  • Layout Name

  • Description

  • Layout Design (Classic design or Customized design).

Adjusting Product Visibility in the Sales Interface:

  • Modify Categories:

    • Click Customize Category.

  • Check the categories you want to display in the sales interface.

  • Uncheck categories to hide them.

  • Modify Products:

    • Click Customize Products.

  • Check the products to display them.

  • Uncheck products to hide them.

  • Disable the Search Box:

    • You can disable the search box in the cashier interface.

  • Apply Changes:

    • Check the sales registers you want to update.

    • Click Save.

Deleting a Sales Interface

Steps to Delete a Sales Interface:

  • Click the Delete Icon (🗑️).

  • Confirm deletion by clicking Delete.

ℹ️ Only the sales interface is deleted; the sales register remains unaffected.


FAQ

1. Can I edit a sales interface without closing the sales register?
No, the register must be closed before editing. If you try to save changes while the register is open, you will be prompted to close it first.

2. Can I restore a deleted sales interface?
No, deleted interfaces cannot be restored. You can create a new interface instead.

3. Can I delete a sales interface that is active on a register?
No, a sales interface must be inactive on all registers before it can be deleted.

  • To identify active registers, click the ❗ Icon to view branch and register details.

  • Transfer the registers to another interface, then delete the interface.

4. Can I add a new category through Image-Based Interface settings?
Yes, follow these steps:

  • Click Add New Category.

  • Enter the category name and save it.

  • Adding Products to the New Category:

    • Option 1: Add uncategorized products.

      • Click Add From Uncategorized Products.

  • Uncategorized products will appear, Select the products, assign them to the new category, and ِAdd.

  • Option 2: Add new products to the inventory.

    • Click Add New Products to This Category From Inventory.

  • You will be redirected directly to the inventory, Add product.

  • Select the category, click 'Save' and they will appear in the new category.
