I was charged twice

Double charge — charged twice, duplicate payment, overcharged, pending transaction, temporary hold, authorization hold, two charges on card, refund duplicate, extra charge on bank statement

Written by Reyrr Athletics

Seeing two charges can be stressful, but in many cases one of them is just a temporary hold from your bank or payment provider.

Pending Charge vs. Completed Charge

A pending charge means your bank has reserved the amount, but the payment hasn't been fully settled yet. If the order wasn't completed, this amount is usually released automatically.

  • Pending: usually disappears within 1–5 business days.

  • Completed: the payment has gone through and appears as a final charge.

Why This Can Happen

  • The first checkout attempt failed, but your bank still created a temporary hold.

  • The page was refreshed, or checkout was attempted twice.

  • Your bank or payment provider shows both an authorization and the final charge.

What To Do

  1. Check whether both charges are completed, or if one is still pending.

  2. Wait 1–5 business days for any pending hold to clear.

  3. If both charges are completed, contact us and we'll look into it.

What To Send Us

Email info@reyrr.com or use live chat with your order number, the email address used at checkout, and a screenshot of both charges. Please hide your full card number and any sensitive bank details.
