When Is My Card Charged?

When you place an order on Reyrr Athletics, your card is charged at the time of checkout. However, depending on your bank or card issuer, the charge may initially appear as a pending authorization rather than a completed transaction.

Why Is My Payment Pending?

A pending payment means your bank has reserved the funds for the order but hasn't finalized the transaction yet. This is completely normal and happens for a few reasons:

  • Authorization hold: Your bank places a temporary hold on the funds to verify your card is valid and has sufficient balance. This hold typically clears within 1–3 business days.

  • Processing time: Some banks take longer to process payments, especially on weekends or holidays.

  • Pre-order or backorder items: If your order includes items that haven't shipped yet, the charge may remain pending until fulfillment begins.

What If the Pending Charge Disappears?

Sometimes a pending authorization may temporarily disappear from your statement before reappearing as a final charge. This is normal bank behavior — it does not mean your order was cancelled.

If you're unsure about a charge, check your order confirmation email or contact us at support@reyrrathletics.com and we'll look into it for you.

Multiple Pending Charges?

If you see more than one pending charge for the same order, don't worry — duplicate authorization holds usually drop off within a few days. If they don't, reach out to us and we'll help sort it out with your bank.
