How do I find the right size for football gloves?

Reyrr gloves (ZERO and ONE) are sized by hand length — the distance from the base of your palm to the tip of your middle finger, measured in centimeters. Here's how to find your size.

How to measure your hand

  1. Place your hand flat on a table with fingers together

  2. Use a ruler or measuring tape to measure from the base of your palm to the tip of your middle finger

  3. Measure in centimeters

  4. If your hands are different sizes, use the measurement from your dominant hand

💡 Tip: Measure twice to be sure. A half-centimeter difference can mean a different size.

Adult sizes

  • Small: 17–18 cm

  • Medium: 19–20 cm

  • Large: 20–21 cm

  • X-Large: 21–22 cm

  • XX-Large: 22–23 cm

Youth sizes

  • Y-S (Youth Small): 13–14 cm

  • Y-M (Youth Medium): 14–15 cm

  • Y-L (Youth Large): 15–16 cm

  • Y-XL (Youth X-Large): 16–17 cm

Which gloves does this apply to?

This size guide applies to all Reyrr gloves, including the Reyrr ZERO and Reyrr ONE. Both use the same sizing.

Between sizes?

If your measurement falls right on the boundary between two sizes, we recommend going with the larger size. Football gloves should fit snug but not restrict movement. Gloves can also tighten slightly after washing.

How gloves should fit

  • Your fingertips should reach the end of each glove finger with no extra space

  • The glove should feel snug around the palm and fingers — like a second skin

  • You should be able to make a full fist and catch a ball comfortably

  • Receivers and defensive backs typically prefer a tighter fit for better grip

  • Linemen may prefer a slightly roomier fit for padding and flexibility

Glove care and washing

To keep your gloves in top condition and maintain grip:

  • Hand-wash recommended: Use cold water and a small amount of mild detergent. Gently scrub the palm and fingers, then rinse thoroughly

  • Machine wash alternative: Turn inside out, place in a pillowcase, use cold water on the delicate cycle

  • Drying: Always air dry — hang or lay flat. Never use a clothes dryer (heat damages the grip material)

  • After each use: Air out your gloves in a ventilated area. Don't leave them crumpled in your bag while damp

⚠️ Important: Over-washing reduces glove grip and lifespan. Only wash when they start to smell or feel slippery. Wiping with a damp cloth after use is usually enough.

Do football gloves stretch?

Yes, football gloves stretch slightly with use as the material conforms to your hand shape. This is normal and actually improves the fit. If your gloves have stretched too much, a gentle hand-wash in warm water can tighten them back up a bit.
