Closing your fundraiser on Read for My School
First, log in to your administrator account. Then, click on your FUNDRAISER SETTING option. Next, click on the CLOSE FUNDRAISER button.
TIP: Your CLOSE FUNDRAISER button will appear once your fundraiser reaches ZERO DAYS. If you need more time, just click the EDIT button and extend your END DATE. If you still have days left and want to close out your fundraiser sooner than the end date, set your end date to the next day. Once your end date gets to zero, your close fundraiser button will appear.
Need to close your fundraiser before your end date?
If you are looking to close down your fundraiser before the end date, scroll down in EDIT MODE to the bottom of your SETTINGS page. Then, click the CLOSE FUNDRAISER button.
Once you click on the CLOSE FUNDRAISER button, you will receive an alert asking you to confirm that you want to close out your fundraiser. Click the CLOSE FUNDRAISER button again to finish.
IMPORTANT: Be sure you want to close out your fundraiser since once the fundraiser is closed, you can't undo it. Once your fundraiser is closed, you will stop all students from tracking their reading sessions through the app as well as donors making pledge contributions to your fundraiser.
Starting a new fundraiser on Read for My School
Ready to start a new fundraiser? Log into your existing RFMS account. On your top main menu, select the START NEW FUNDRAISER button.
IMPORTANT: When you start a new fundraiser, your Stripe account will still be active so all you need to do is rebuild your teams, goals as well as fundraising story and you are ready to go! It's that easy!!
TIP: Download your progress and donation reports before you start a new fundraiser on Read for My School. It's an easy way to reference what you did with your last fundraiser and what you can work on to drive more participation and profits for your school!
