Once Rate Tables have been configured and assigned to a project, Rhumbix can automatically determine the appropriate rates when T&M is entered.
For most field users, the T&M workflow remains familiar. Rate matching happens in the background so Foremen can focus on recording the work performed.

👷 Create T&M as a Foreman
Create your T&M form and enter the labor, equipment, and materials used for the work as usual.
When the form is saved, Rhumbix uses the Rate Tables assigned to the project to determine the appropriate rates.
By default, Foremen do not see the pricing information on the form.
💲 Review Rates as an Admin
Users with the appropriate permissions can open the same T&M form and see the rates Rhumbix applied.
Admins can see the rate selectors associated with the T&M entries and adjust the selected rate when necessary.

✏️ Override a Rate
If the automatically matched rate isn't the rate that should be used for a particular entry, an authorized user can override it.
You can select another available rate or enter a manual rate. Manual overrides are visually identified so users can distinguish them from automatically matched pricing.
Removing a manual rate causes the form to return to the rate value determined through the regular rate selection.
🔄 Reprice a T&M Form
Authorized users can use Reprice Forms to recalculate rates using the configured Rate Tables and the employee and Project information applicable to the original Work Performed On date.
This can be useful when Rate Tables have been updated or when corrections have been made to employee information applicable to that date.
Important: Repricing a T&M form does not update the original Timekeeping entries if the form was created using Timekeeping data.
📅 Changing the Work Performed Date
Rates can be dependent on the Work Performed On date.
If changing the date would result in different rates, Rhumbix prompts the user to choose whether to keep the existing rates or update them based on the new date.
⏱️ Using Timekeeping Data in T&M
When Timekeeping entries are imported into a T&M form, Rhumbix determines the applicable rates based on the configured Rate Tables, matching criteria, and the employee and Project information applicable to the date of the entries.
Once the rates are applied, subsequent changes to employee information or Rate Tables do not automatically update the existing T&M form.
If rates need to be updated, an authorized user can manually override them or use Reprice Forms to recalculate the applicable rates.
📄 Create a T&M Bundle
Multiple T&M forms can be combined into a single bundle.
