Build and Search Your Scene Library

The Scenes Library is where your brand’s visual world takes shape. Before you even generate a single image, the Scenes library allows you to curate the lighting, environment, and "vibe" that will serve as the backdrop for your products.

Think of a Scene as a digital film set—once the stage is lit and the props are in place, you can swap in any product you like.

Before You Start

  • Select your Brand: Ensure you are in the correct brand workspace via the sidebar.

  • Prepare Your References: If you plan to create a custom scene, have a high-quality image file or a direct image URL ready.

How to Use the Scenes Library

1. Explore and Filter

Open Scenes from the sidebar. You can browse the existing library or use the search bar to find specific environments (e.g., "marble countertop," "golden hour garden," or "minimalist studio").

  • Ownership Toggle: Switch between "All Scenes" and "Your Scenes" to see only the backgrounds created specifically for your brand.

  • Category Filters: Narrow your search by style or product category to find the perfect match faster.

2. Creating a Custom Scene

If the library doesn't have exactly what you need, click Create new scene. You can upload a file or paste a URL to use as a reference.

3. The "Anonymize" Feature

When creating a new scene from a reference image, you will see an option to Anonymize the reference. This is a critical step for controlling AI output:

  • Anonymize (ON): Riverflow will extract the composition, lighting, and color palette of the image but will ignore specific objects, people, or logos. Use this when you want to "steal the vibe" of an image without copying the exact content.

  • Do Not Anonymize (OFF): Riverflow will try to stay as true as possible to the textures and specific details of the reference. Use this when the background materials or specific props in the reference are essential to your brand look.

4. Processing

Once submitted, Riverflow processes the scene in the background. You can leave the page; your new scene will appear in the library once the AI has "learned" the environment.

Best Practices

  • Search for Moods, Not Just Objects: Instead of searching for "Table," try "soft morning light on oak wood." Describing the lighting and atmosphere leads to much more professional results.

  • Curate, Don't Hoard: A cluttered library makes it harder for your team to stay consistent. Only add scenes that align with your actual campaign goals.

  • Reference Wisely: When creating a scene, choose reference images that have a clear, uncluttered visual direction. The simpler the reference, the more flexible the generated scene will be.

Troubleshooting

"My search isn't finding what I want."

Try simplifying your keywords. If "Art Deco luxury hotel lobby at sunset" is too specific, try "Luxury lobby sunset" and then refine.

"The scene doesn't look like my reference image."

Check your Anonymize setting. If it was turned on, the AI likely stripped away details you wanted to keep. Try re-uploading with Anonymize turned off.

"I can't see the 'Generate' button."

Ensure you have selected a brand in the sidebar. You need a brand context to move a scene into the Photoshoot phase.

What’s Next?

Once you’ve curated your perfect set of backdrops:

  • Define Style Rules: Set the "guardrails" for how your products should interact with these scenes.

  • Start a Photoshoot: Combine your Products and Scenes to generate production-ready creative assets.
