You'll only pay a booking fee when you successfully approve and confirm a driver and you're rewarded for booking smarter through our automated discount structure.
Here's a breakdown of how your booking fee is calculated and how our system delivers value:
The Basics
Pay-Per-Booking Model: Unlike traditional agencies or subscriptions, you are not charged upfront fees or ongoing access costs. Your fee is a one-time charge applied per successful job booking when you confirm a driver.
Transparent Pricing: Drivers set their own hourly rates, and Road Ninja does not add markups to these driver rates. The booking fee is separate and clearly visible upfront, with no hidden costs.
Base and Minimum Fee: Your booking fee starts from a base rate of 38%. However, through our stacked discount system, this fee can be significantly reduced, down to an absolute minimum booking fee of 12%. This 12% minimum represents a substantial saving and rewards more extensive use of the platform.
Stacked Discounts
Discounts are automatically applied based on the specific characteristics of each job booking. These discounts stack together to reduce your overall booking fee:
Length Discount: You receive a discount of 1.5% for every 6 full days included in a single booking. This rewards longer commitments.
Density Discount: You receive a discount of 1.5% for each hour worked per day beyond 6 hours, up to a maximum of 12 hours per workday. This incentivises more intensive daily engagements and makes discounts achievable earlier in a typical workday.
By combining the Length and Density discounts, the system calculates your final booking fee for each job. The more days and the more intensive the hours per day for a booking, the closer your fee will move towards the 12% minimum
Loyalty Rewards for Rebooking
Road Ninja's pricing includes stacked discounts based on job duration (length) and daily intensity (hours/day).
We also have a process to handle discounts when you rebook the same driver to extend their engagement before their current job is finished.
The system will initially set the discount for the new booking to the same discount percentage that was applied to the ongoing booking.
Once the new booking is created and its specific details (such as duration and total hours) are entered, the system will then re-evaluate the discount for this new booking using the standard stacked discount logic.
Applying the standard discount logic to the new booking might result in the discount staying the same, or decreasing compared to the inherited discount. Regardless of the discounts applied, the minimum base booking fee is 12%.
This means you benefit from the previously earned discount starting the new booking, and the final discount for the extended period is then accurately calculated based on the new job's specifics
