Road Ninja is a subscription-based platform that simplifies driver recruitment for transport companies, offering access to a pool of pre-vetted drivers for contract work and a job board for permanent roles. Here’s an overview of how payments and subscriptions work:

Transport companies must subscribe to one of Road Ninja’s plans to book vetted contract drivers. Subscribers can directly book pre-vetted contractors for on-demand work through the Road Ninja platform, or post full-time and part-time job listings to our job board attract qualified drivers for longer-term roles.

No Cost for Drivers

Drivers use Road Ninja at no cost, allowing them to create profiles, set rates, and receive job requests without any fees through a mobile-app.

*All drivers on Road Ninja are independent contractors responsible for managing their tax obligations. Road Ninja ensures a transparent, fair engagement for both companies and drivers.

Driver Payments and Frequency

  • Drivers submit hours and logbook evidence after completing each job. Companies receive an email notification to review and approve payments.

  • To ensure timely compensation, companies should maintain a weekly payment cycle to drivers.

Driver rates and fixed price offers:

  • Drivers set their own hourly rates based on their experience and preferences.

  • Companies can propose a fixed daily rate, which is especially helpful for urgent jobs. This approach provides flexibility while maintaining fairness in compensation.

Payment Options

Currently, all payments are processed via credit cards through Stripe. While this method is widely accepted, Road Ninja recognises its limitations. Plans are underway to introduce alternative payment methods, such as bank transfers, to offer greater flexibility.
