Navigating the Rolai Platform

Learn the layout of the Rolai interface and how to find key features.

Written by Varun Navani

After logging in, you will land on the main dashboard – the left-side menu provides access to major tools and sections of Rolai.

This article walks through the navigation menu (e.g., Chats, Knowledge, Agents, Flows) and how to switch between sections, use the search, and access profile or help settings.

  • Navigating the Sidebar - The Rolai sidebar provides quick access to all major platform features. Here's what each section offers:

    • New Chat: The central workspace where you can chat with AI models, access recent conversations, and start new interactions. This is your primary starting point for casual AI interactions.

    • Prompts (Formerly known as Smart Tasks): Access pre-built AI workflows for common use cases. Launch tasks directly or customize them for your specific needs.

    • Agents: An AI Agent is a self-contained, purpose-built AI tool that you configure once-by choosing the AI model of your choice, writing clear instructions for its behavior, setting up guardrails to control what it can and cannot do, and connecting it to your data, documents (either directly or via the Knowledge Base), and APIs via our integrations. Once deployed, an AI Agent can operate autonomously.

    • Flows: View and manage your automated workflows. Create new processes that combine triggers, AI actions, and integrations into powerful automation sequences.

  • Knowledge: Upload, organize, and manage documents that provide context for your AI interactions. This section helps you connect your organization's data with Rolai's AI capabilities.

  • Spaces: a dedicated area where users can manage specific settings, agents, and flows, ensuring that workflows can be shared selectively while maintaining privacy.

You can collapse the Sidebar using the button located in the upper right of the Sidebar itself
