Let’s get you set up so you can start running campaigns and tracking conversions smoothly. Follow the steps below to integrate Rootabl into your website and start optimizing your affiliate campaigns.
Step 1: Log in to Rootabl
Visit app.rootabl.com/login.
Enter your credentials and log into your account.
Step 2: Setting Up Leads & Tracking with Rootabl
Navigate to Settings
Once logged in, find and click on “Settings” at the bottom left of your dashboard.Embed Rootabl Tracking Code
Copy the custom embed code provided by Rootabl.
Add this code to the
<head>,<body>, or<footer>section of every landing page, thank you page, and checkout page where you’ll collect leads as part of your campaign.For instance, if you're using platforms like Show It, add this code to all relevant pages (landing pages, thank-you pages, opt-in forms, and sales pages).
Ensure Coverage on Iframed Opt-Ins
If your opt-in forms are using an iframe (e.g., on HubSpot), include the Rootabl tracking code within those forms for accurate tracking.
Step 3: Connect Payment Platforms
Stripe Integration (Recommended)
In the “Settings” section, click “Connect Stripe.”
Follow the prompts to log in to Stripe and connect the same account where you receive payments. This will allow Rootabl to track all payments linked to your campaign effectively.
Note: If you get logged out of Rootabl while completing this step, log back in, and you should see it connected in your business settings.
PayPal Integration
Go to PayPal Developer Site and log in using your Business PayPal account.
In the menu, select “Apps & Credentials.”
Make sure you are in Live Mode (toggle to green if needed).
Click “Create App” (name it as you prefer).
Copy the API Client ID and Secret provided.
Securely share these IDs with Rootabl by:
Using a password manager like LastPass to send it to Rootabl at hello@rootabl.com, OR
Waiting for the secure area within Rootabl settings to become available soon.
