How to Create A Campaign in Rootabl

Step 1: Create Your Campaign

  1. Campaign Basics: Start by naming your campaign and adding a short description.

  2. Define Your Commission: Decide on a commission percentage that works for your business. This is the most important part, so make sure you enter this correctly!

    1. Tip: 20% is a common starting point, but it can vary from 7%-50% depending on the product! Read here more help on choosing a commission structure.

    2. Important: To change your commission, please contact the Rootabl team.

  3. Choose Your Cookie Length: Set a cookie length to track affiliate referrals.

    • Tip: We recommend 90-180 days.

  4. Save Your Campaign Settings: Click “Next” to move to the next stage. Don’t worry - you can come back and make changes later!

Step 2: Add Tracking Links

  1. Set Up Your Promo Links: Add URLs to the specific pages you want affiliates to refer to, such as product pages or sales pages.

    • Title Your Links: Give each link a clear, descriptive title that affiliates will understand.

    • Tip: Are you promoting a free offer like a webinar or opt-in? Add it under Leads List under "Manage Leads List Links" as well to correctly track leads.

  2. Preview Links: Once you’ve entered links, preview them to ensure accuracy by clicking Preview Affiliate Promo Area.

Step 3: Invite Affiliates

  1. Individual Invites: For personalized invites, add affiliates manually.

  2. Send an Invitation Link: Share your unique invitation link with potential affiliates. Remind them they’ll receive a commission for any sales they bring in.

Step 4: Customize the Affiliate Promo Area

  1. Upload Promotional Assets: Add any graphics, pre-written copy, or social media assets you want affiliates to use.

    • Graphics: Include ready-to-use images to make promoting easy.

    • Important Dates: Add any key promotional dates, such as Black Friday or holiday sales.

  2. Review and Save Changes: Confirm all information is correct before finalizing.

Step 5: Go Live

  1. Review Your Campaign: Double-check each step to make sure everything is set up as intended.

  2. Launch Your Campaign: Once you’re ready, launch your campaign!

  3. Track Your Results: Use the reporting dashboard to monitor clicks, leads, and conversions.
