This tutorial shows you exactly how to invite affiliates into your Rootabl campaign — with two easy options depending on how personal or automated you want the invite to be. Whether you’re sending a custom message with your unique invite link or uploading a list of confirmed partners for a quick batch send, you’ll learn how to get people into your campaign and straight to their promo materials without hassle.
Step-by-Step Instructions: Inviting Affiliates into Your Campaign
1. Access Your Campaign
From the Campaigns dashboard, click into the campaign you want to invite affiliates to
Go to the Campaign Checklist or Affiliates tab to access your invite options
2. Choose How You Want to Invite Affiliates
Option 1: "View Invite Options" - Choose 1 of 3 ways to invite new affiliates to your campaign!
Instant Join Link
This is the link you want to use to provide to your special affiliates who you've already approved. They will not need to fill out an application and will automatically be approved and join your campaign.
Application Link
This will be a URL you can provide for potential affiliates to click on and then apply to become an affiliate for your campaign
This is ideal if you haven’t gotten a verbal confirmation yet
You can paste the link into:
A personalized email
A DM or text message
Your onboarding flow or webinar follow-up
When someone clicks the link:
If they don’t have a Rootabl account, they’ll be prompted to create one
If they already have an account, they’ll be taken straight to your campaign and can click “Join”
Direct Invite
You will input a list of email addresses to send an automated email to join your campaign and fill out an application.
Best for affiliates who have already said “yes” and are expecting the invite
Add individual email addresses manually or import a CSV file
Click Send Invitations
Option 2: "Add existing affiliates" from one of your other campaigns into this one without requiring them to apply.
Using this option will give you a list of affiliates from other campaigns that you can select to auto-add to this current campaign.
Important:
These invites come from Rootabl and use a default template — you can’t customize this message
Only use this method if the person is expecting the email
3. Understand the Invite Email Format (if using 'Direct Invite')
The email includes:
Your business name
The campaign name
A CTA to “Get set up as an affiliate”
A reply-to email address (pulled from your Rootabl account)
Example: “You’ve been invited to become an affiliate for Amy Porterfield’s Digital Course Academy on Rootabl.”
4. View and Manage Invited Affiliates
You can view a list of who you’ve already invited in the Affiliates tab dropdown
Once someone joins, they’ll immediately have access to:
Tracking links
Promo materials
Swipe copy
Graphics (if added)
Use the method that best fits your outreach style — either personalized and custom (Instant Join Link / Application Link) or quick and automated (Direct Invite).
All three of these ways make it easy for affiliates to join and start promoting right away!
