Important: Before you begin, make sure that your site on Wix is published and has a connected domain.

Wix provides you with the ability to easily add custom codes and scripts to your overall website.

This ensures every part of your funnel is tracked, so affiliates receive proper credit for visits and conversions—particularly important if they promote specific products.

Prior to getting started, you will need to have the following:

  • Your Rootabl Tracking Code

Grab your Tracking Code

  • Navigate to the 'Integrations' step of your onboarding or click here

1. Open Your Wix Site Settings

  • Log in to your Wix account.

  • In your site’s dashboard, click on Settings on the left-side menu.

2. Navigate to Custom Code Section

  • Scroll down to the Advanced section.

  • Click on Custom Code.

3. Add New Code Snippet

  • Click on the + Add Custom Code button (usually located at the top right).

  • Paste the Rootabl tracking code snippet into the provided text box.

4. Name Your Code Snippet

  • Enter a name for the code that’s easy to recognize—this helps you identify it later.

5. Choose Pages to Apply Code

You have two options:

  • All pages: The code will apply site-wide, including future pages. You can choose if it loads once per visitor or on every page view.

  • Specific pages: Use the dropdown menu to select particular pages.

6. Specify Code Placement

Choose the placement based on Rootabl’s instructions (typically, tracking codes are placed in the Head).

Decide where the snippet should go:

  • Head

  • Body – start

  • Body – end

7. Save the Code

  • Click Apply to save your changes

Notes:

  • Your code snippets are associated with a specific domain. If you assign a different domain to your site, your code snippets will be deleted. There is no need to add code snippets to your secondary domain, as all traffic is redirected to your primary domain.

  • To help your site be compliant with privacy laws such as the GDPR, we recommend you categorize your custom code.
