At Rootabl, we make affiliate payouts effortless, clear, and flexible. Here’s how it works—and how you can customize it to fit your business needs.

How Affiliate Payouts Work

We automate payouts for you and your affiliates! All you and your affiliates have to do is connect your bank account to us with and we'll take care of the rest. This will be done through Stripe so your private details are kept secure and private. You will have a regular monthly payout schedule that is laid out in more detail here: Commission Payout Schedule

Built-In Tax and Currency Support

  • Rootabl takes care of tax forms and currency conversions automatically.

  • Payments can be made in 135+ currencies through Stripe, so paying international affiliates is seamless.

Setting Up Payments

  1. Connect Your Bank Account

    • Log into your Rootabl account.

    • Go to Business Settings > Onboarding Checklist > Set Up Commission Payouts (or click here).

    • Navigate to the bottom of the page and choose your bank account.

      • We can offer direct invoices to you as well if you would prefer that method instead.

Adjustable Settings for Businesses

While our system is designed to streamline payouts, there are a couple of customizable settings to suit your business needs:

  1. Refund Window:

The default review window is 7 days. This delay ensures that refunds or disputes can be resolved before payout. However, you can adjust this window:

    • Minimum: 0 days (to pay affiliates faster)

    • Maximum: 90 days (for businesses with longer refund policies)

  2. Recommendation: We suggest keeping the default 7-day window for optimal balance.

  3. Transaction Fee Responsibility:
Decide whether to absorb the 5% transaction fee or pass it on to affiliates. This choice applies across your entire business.
