Why do I see negative auction values?

For many of our custom auction value generator tools, you may see negative dollar values for players. Any negative dollar value can be considered a player our projections say should not be bought at auction. They are essentially zero-dollar players. While listing them all at zero dollars may look correct, it doesn't help much. We continue by showing how much negative value the players would have, which allows us to rank the players who are not recommended to be bought at auction. Otherwise, all the players would be at your minimum bid, and you would have no way of differentiating between them.
