Open the data object manager (i.e., Terms Manager, Sequences Manager, Compounds Manager, and R-Groups Manager).
Locate and click the entry for the desired data object in the left-hand sidebar listing or scroll down the window to the definition field for the desired term.
Note that these actions are illustrated using the Terms Manager, but these steps apply across all managers.
Click the flag icon to the upper right of the descriptive text entry fields.
Click to select among one of the five available, customizable flagging categories.
Note that flagging is only visible within the Rowan Patents integrated drafting environment. None of the data exported for filing will indicate which terms have been flagged, or the flag categories.
To unflag a flagged term, click the flag icon again and select the Set to Not Flagged option.
Flag and Categorize Key Data Objects
Terms, Sequences, Compounds, and R-Groups can all be flagged with five customizable categories in their respective managers, allowing you to categorize your data for ease of review and communication to future drafters.
