Wegovy is a prescription, once-weekly injectable medication used to support weight loss in adults living with overweight or obesity. It's a clinically proven GLP-1 receptor agonist that mimics a natural hormone involved in appetite and metabolism regulation.


Who is Wegovy for?

  • Adults with a BMI of 30 or more

  • Adults with a BMI of 27 or more and at least one weight-related condition (e.g., high blood pressure, cholesterol, insulin resistance)

  • Reduces appetite and food cravings

  • Slows stomach emptying to increase fullness

  • Improves blood sugar control and insulin sensitivity

Important Safety Info

  • Not for use if you or a family member have had medullary thyroid cancer
