Getting Started: Applying to Become a Host

Rumor is a private network designed for top-tier hosts and curated experiences. To create a host account on Rumor, you’ll first need to submit an application. 


By applying, you gain access to a community of influential guests, premium event tools, and invite-only opportunities that can’t be found anywhere else.

Application Requirements

During the application process, you will be prompted to provide the following information:

  1. Full Name

  2. Company Name

  3. Email Address

  4. Phone Number

  5. Number of Events You Host Per Year

  6. Website (Optional)

  7. Referral (Optional)

Once submitted, our team will carefully review your application. If approved, you will receive a welcome email with next steps.


Step 1: Completing Your Host Profile

Once approved, you will receive an email prompting you to finish setting up your host account on Rumor.

Click “Get Started on Rumor” to proceed.


Step 2: Setting Up Your Host Profile

After logging in, you’ll be asked to provide additional details to complete your profile. This includes:

  1. Profile Image (JPG or PNG, Max 5MB)

  2. Host Bio (Brief description of your brand or events you host)

  1. Social Media Links (Optional, but recommended)

    1. Instagram

    2. TikTok

    3. LinkedIn

    4. YouTube

    5. Facebook

    6. X (Twitter)

📌 The information you provide will be visible to members on the Rumor app and can be updated at any time.

4. Click “Finish” to finish creating your profile.


Step 3: Accessing the Host Portal

Once your profile is set up, you can log in to the Host Portal to begin managing events, curating your community, and engaging with Rumor members.
