Confirming Your Shift

Note:

This policy differs for shifts with Royal Mail. Take a look here for Royal Mail specific information.

All other clients:

If you have a shift booked, you will be asked to confirm no later than 4 hours before it starts.

You have a 12-hour window before the shift to click the button and let us know. If you don't click the button at this time, the shift may be cancelled.

You will receive plenty of notifications to remind you to confirm your shift, so you can sit back and wait for us to let you know when it's time.

Checking in for your shift

Your app will allow check-in 30 minutes before your shift starts (although you will only be paid from the shift start time). You must be at the location to check in. This lets us know you are there and gives greater visibility to our clients. If there is on-site staff, please also present yourself to a manager.

You will be removed and marked as a 'No Show' if you do not check in to your shift. This will lead to -2 performance points and may eventually lead to your removal from Ryde's Platform.

For more information on performance points, take a look here.
