If you need to switch pharmacies, SafeGard support can transfer your prescriptions and vaccine orders to a different location.
When your physician finishes reviewing your case, SafeGard sends your prescriptions and vaccine orders electronically to the pharmacy location you picked during your intake. You may need to change pharmacies if:
The pharmacy doesn't have a vaccine or medication you need and can't order it in time
The pharmacy can't give you an appointment before your trip
You'd like to go to a more convenient location
You picked the wrong store by mistake
How to transfer your prescriptions and vaccines
Contact SafeGard support and include:
The traveler's full name and date of birth
The pharmacy your orders were sent to (store name and location or store number, e.g., Costco #123)
The new pharmacy you'd like to use (store name, address, and store number if you know it)
Which vaccines or medications need to be moved, if not all of them
Our team will send your orders to the new pharmacy and let you know once they've been sent.
Before you contact us
Ask to speak with the pharmacist at your originally selected pharmacy. Many pharmacies order travel vaccines once they receive your prescriptions. The pharmacist may be able to get what you need without a transfer. See: How do I know if the pharmacy has the vaccines I need in stock?
Check that the new location works with SafeGard. Not every pharmacy is a SafeGard partner. Contact our team to confirm. See: Where is SafeGard available?
Note: You can't change your pharmacy yourself after your intake has been submitted. Please contact support.
