Yes — the Nomad Insurance Complete plan may reimburse personal belongings stolen during a burglary.
If your accommodation is broken into and your personal belongings are stolen, the Nomad Insurance Complete plan may reimburse the value of eligible items, provided the incident meets the conditions of the plan.
Your safety comes first. Once the situation is safe and you’re able to gather the required documentation, you can submit a claim.
When this benefit applies
This benefit may apply when:
Your accommodation is burglarized, and
Personal belongings are stolen during the break-in
The incident must meet the conditions outlined in the Nomad Insurance Complete plan.
Reimbursement limits
The benefit includes the following limits:
Up to USD 500 per item
Up to USD 3,000 per incident
Up to USD 6,000 lifetime maximum under the plan
Documents required for a claim
To review your claim, please submit:
A police report filed within 24 hours of the incident
Proof of ownership for the stolen items, such as:
Receipts or invoices
Warranty cards
Online registrations that include your name
A copy of a government-issued ID, if requested
In some cases, additional documentation may be requested to complete the claim review.
