Coverage
The plan provides coverage for travel to a covered country with an existing travel warning, as long as it is not your home country.
Limitations
Traveling to or staying in hostile or conflict-affected areas can significantly impact your coverage.
Exclusions:
Any event related to war, military action, or while on duty as a member of a police or military force unit.
Cash payout if loss of limbs or eyes in an accident
Cash payout in case of accidental death
Evacuation from local unrest, which may not be available.
Nomad Insurance Essential does not provide adequate coverage for travel-warning zones or areas affected by war, armed conflict, or terrorism.
In addition, on-the-ground assistance may be extremely limited, leaving insureds without practical support in the event of a serious medical emergency or other adverse incident.
For this reason, we recommend purchasing specialized hostile-area insurance if you plan to visit such regions.
