Saga Health insurance is available to permanent UK residents only. The policyholder must be aged 50 or over, have a UK residential address and live in the UK for at least 6 months a year. You do not have to be a permanent UK resident at the time of obtaining a quote, providing you plan to live in the UK for at least 6 months per year from the commencement of the policy, and you’re able to give you a UK postal address to enter into the relevant systems.
The following people can be included under the policy as insured members:
The policyholder
The policyholder’s current spouse or civil partner or any person living permanently with or within the same postcode rating area in a similar relationship with the policyholder.
The policyholder’s or current spouse or civil partner’s (as above) dependent children under 21 years old (or under 25 if still in full time education) at the cover start date and at their annual renewal date
