Under Saga Health Insurance, The Health Cash Benefits Cover provides cash back towards the cost of dental care, optical care, dental accident, dental emergency and health screening, as shown below.
There is no waiting period for pre-existing conditions so section ‘Existing medical conditions’ does not apply to Health Cash Benefits Cover.
We will not pay for dental treatment, which to the best of the policyholder's knowledge and belief, they were aware was needed before joining this policy. We may request additional information from you as part of your claim. We will reimburse customers towards the cost of treatment under each benefit limit up to the maximum amounts payable for each person covered per year as stated in the benefits table.
Please note: these benefits are not available to any children included under the policy – they are available to the policyholder and their spouse/partner only (for a definition of spouse or partner, refer to ‘family member’).
This cover option provides cash back towards your everyday healthcare costs, such as dental and optical appointments or treatment. Benefits include up to:
• £200 per person a year for dental care
• £150 per person a year for optical care
• £200 per person a year for dental accident
• £200 per person a year for dental emergency
• £150 per person a year for health screening
One of the benefits of this cover option is you can claim these benefits without paying an excess and these claims won't affect your No Claims Discount.
