How does the SalesCloser and Twilio integration work?

To enable your agents to make and receive calls through SalesCloser, you'll need to integrate with Twilio, a trusted third-party telecom provider. Twilio acts as the "phone line" for your agents, allowing them to connect with prospects securely and reliably.

What Twilio Does

  • Provides Phone Numbers: Twilio offers local and international phone numbers for your agents.

  • Powers Call Infrastructure: It handles the technology behind each call, ensuring clear and stable connections.

  • Pay-As-You-Go Pricing: You only pay for what you use—calls, minutes, etc.

How to Check Twilio Pricing for Your Country
Twilio provides a comprehensive pricing page where you can select your country and view detailed pricing information:

  1. Twilio Pricing Pages (Recommended)

  • On this page, you will find a drop-down menu to select your country.

  • Once you pick your country, it automatically shows:

    • Local phone numbers & their monthly cost

    • Inbound call rates per minute

    • Outbound call rates per minute

  • No coding, no API, select your country and see the rates.

Why this is best: Visual, simple, updated automatically.

2. Twilio Phone Number Search

  • You can choose your country and even filter by city or region.

  • Shows available numbers and the price per number before you purchase.

Why this is helpful: Let's pick a number and see exactly what you’ll pay monthly.

When looking at rates, remember to note:

  • Monthly fee for the number

  • Inbound call rate

  • Outbound call rate (local or international if needed)

Important: Each Agent Needs Their Own Number
If you have multiple agents (e.g., inbound, outbound, Spanish-speaking, English-speaking), each one requires its own Twilio number to operate independently. This setup ensures:

  • Clear Call Routing: Calls are directed to the appropriate agent.

  • Accurate Tracking: You can monitor and analyze each agent's performance separately.
