Importing contacts via CSV files

Overview

Another way you can add contacts to your campaigns is by importing a CSV file containing highly targeted people for your outreach strategy.

Please make sure the CSV file complies with the following criteria:

  • The URL must begin with HTTPS

  • You can import up to 5000 contacts

  • The file is saved as a CSV MS-DOS file

  • You must keep the header names as they are on the template, but the order of the rows is irrelevant.

  • Only LinkedIn classic URLs are accepted, Sales Navigator URLs are not allowed.

  • Duplicates are not allowed across campaigns; please make sure your imported members don't belong to any other campaigns prior to import.

NOTE: You do not need to fill in all the rows, the file can be uploaded with just the LinkedIn public URL

How to import a CSV file

  1. Head over to the campaign you would like to import the file on

  2. Click the ADD CONTACTS button

  3. Click Import from .csv

  4. You will be prompted to choose the file

  5. Once the file is uploaded, click on import

Contacts will be imported with a not verified status, which is completely normal. Once the system starts visiting the profiles on LinkedIn, the status will change from not verified to not connected.

Important to Note:

Duplicate data might be uploaded via CSV files, however, when identifying the url-s, Salesflow will not convert those contacts from Not Verified to Not Connected. We recommend checking for duplicates both on your file, as well as on your campaign, after the contacts have been imported.
