Managing Existing Connections and Muted Contacts

Existing Connections

If a contact has already connected with you on LinkedIn, they will appear in the new campaign with the status "Connected." This helps you identify existing connections and avoid redundant outreach.

Muted Contacts

Contacts who have previously messaged you will be muted automatically in the campaign as soon as they're imported. This prevents the sequence from being sent and is done to mimic human behavior. You can unmute them if you wish to do so.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Salesflow doesn't allow duplicates. This means if a contact is in one campaign, you will not be able to import them into another campaign. This is done to avoid contacting the same person twice.

Best Practices for Campaign Management

  • Regularly re-import saved searches to capture new leads while relying on Salesflow’s duplicate prevention to maintain a clean and organized campaign.

  • Monitor the status of connected and muted contacts to ensure your outreach strategy aligns with your goals.

  • Use the system’s automation features thoughtfully to maintain a professional and personalized approach to lead engagement. Additionally, new leads from a Sales Navigator saved search are not automatically added to an existing Salesflow campaign. To include new leads, you need to re-import the saved search. Salesflow also ensures that contacts already imported or previously contacted will not be added again, maintaining an organized and efficient outreach process.
